Refunds

This page applies once you have paid an invoice we issued for a named studio or plant room. Browsing the site and sending the contact form does not create a charge, so there is nothing to refund at that stage.

Eligibility

A full refund is available if you cancel in writing more than 14 days before the published first session of an open cohort, and we have not already spent booked travel for a plant visit tied to your seat. After that window, refunds are partial or declined as set out below.

Timeframe to request

Write to info@toolkitstream.digital within 14 days of the event that triggers the request (cancellation, medical withdrawal, or our cancellation of a cohort). Requests after a studio has ended are considered only for documented non-delivery of coach hours we committed in the confirmation.

Full or partial refund

Full refund: cancellation more than 14 days before start, or if we cancel a cohort and cannot offer a dated alternative within 90 days. Partial refund: 50% if you cancel between 14 days and 48 hours before start; no refund of the tuition portion after the second live session has begun, because coach hours and cohort seats cannot be resold cleanly. Plant Studio retainers: unused on-site days are refunded minus documented travel already purchased; used days are not refunded.

Non-refundable items

Bank transfer fees charged by your bank, printed materials you asked us to courier, and third-party room hire booked at your request. Shift Notebook async access, once opened, is non-refundable after login credentials are sent.

Process

Email from the address on the invoice, name the studio, the invoice number, and the reason. We confirm receipt within two working days and state whether the request is full, partial, or declined, with a short reason.

Processing time and method

Approved refunds are returned by the same method as payment (typically the bank account that paid the invoice) within 15 working days after approval. We do not refund in cash at the Chingshui office.

Cancellation and exceptions

We may cancel a cohort if enrolment is too small to keep 3.8 coach hours honest; in that case you choose a later date or a full refund. Exceptions: if a typhoon warning or government order prevents an on-site day, we reschedule that day; we do not treat weather as a tuition refund by itself. Statutory rights under Taiwanese consumer law that cannot be waived remain available where they apply.
